The Beginning: Why and How

As an initial point of discussion, as well as the over arching theme that will permeate all future discussions, will be the question of objective Truth. Despite Neo-skeptical reasoning to the contrary, there is a necessary foundation to be established. Objective Truth will be assumed, albeit not closed for discussion. In fact, the entire point of this discussion board will be to test the veracity of those arguments and topics that are based on the assumption of objective Truth. The idea being that if the assumption is made, and the conclusion indisputable, then the discerning mind has what to stand on. After all, you can't make a point until you take a stand...

Truth is how well one set of events describes another. Perfect or absolute truth is identity. Lesser truths are embodied in excellent models such as those created by science. Knowing the truth about yourself is knowing your form as well as your actions, indeed, this form is your truth and can be perfect.

"Truth is how well one set of events describes another. Perfect or absolute truth is definition."

Precisely the point at hand. If reality, physical and metaphysical, can be defined universally through the subjective experience then truth is objective, if not it is subjective. The question is whether or not it can be universally defined.
